EZSTONE GROUP INC.(캐나다 브리티시컬럼비아주 법인, 이하 "당사" 또는 "이지스톤")은 캐나다 브리티시컬럼비아(BC)주 어린이집을 위한 한/영 이중언어 보육 기록 서비스인 ezstone 앱과 ezstone.app 웹사이트를 운영합니다. 본 방침은 당사가 어떤 개인정보를 왜 수집하고, 어떻게 보관하며, 이용자에게 어떤 권리가 있는지 설명합니다. 당사는 BC 개인정보보호법(PIPA) 및 캐나다 개인정보보호법(PIPEDA)을 준수합니다.

EZSTONE GROUP INC., a corporation incorporated in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "ezstone"), operates the ezstone mobile app and the ezstone.app website, a bilingual (English/Korean) childcare documentation service for childcare centers in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored, and your rights. We comply with the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

계정 정보: 이름, 이메일 주소, 역할(원장 또는 교사), 소속 어린이집 정보. 아동 정보(보호자 동의하에 어린이집이 입력): 이름, 생년월일, 반, 알러지 및 식이 정보, 출결, 일과 기록(식사·낮잠·기저귀), 관찰 기록, 사고 및 투약 기록, 사진. 보호자 정보: 이름, 이메일 주소, 자녀와의 연결 정보. 당사는 정밀 위치정보나 광고 식별자를 수집하지 않으며, 얼굴인식 기술을 사용하지 않습니다.

Account information: name, email address, role (director or teacher), and childcare center information. Children's information, entered by the childcare center with parent/guardian consent: name, date of birth, class, allergy and dietary information, attendance, daily care records (meals, naps, diapering), observation records, incident and medication records, and photos. Parent/guardian information: name, email address, and the link to their child. We do not collect precise location data or advertising identifiers, and we do not use facial recognition technology.

당사는 서비스 제공을 위해 개인정보를 이용합니다: 아동의 일과 기록 및 보호자 공유, 한/영 번역, 안전 기록(사고·투약·알러지) 관리, 고객 지원. 이지스톤의 AI 기능은 글쓰기 보조와 콘텐츠 생성에 한정됩니다 — 문장 다듬기, 번역, 활동·교육계획안 초안, 그리고 교사가 직접 입력한 평가와 관찰 기록을 문장으로 정리하는 보고서 작성 보조입니다. AI가 스스로 아동의 행동, 감정, 발달을 평가·판단·분석하지 않으며, 모든 평가는 교사가 합니다.

We use personal information to provide the service: recording children's daily care and sharing it with their parents, translating records between English and Korean, maintaining safety records (incidents, medications, allergies), and providing customer support. AI features in ezstone are limited to writing assistance and content generation — polishing text, translating, drafting activity and curriculum ideas, and turning teacher-entered assessments and observation notes into report text. AI never evaluates, judges, or analyzes a child's behavior, emotions, or development on its own; all assessments are made by teachers.

어린이집은 아동 정보를 이지스톤에 입력하기 전에 보호자의 동의를 받을 책임이 있습니다. 보호자는 언제든지 어린이집 또는 당사(hello@ezstone.app)에 연락하여 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다.

Childcare centers are responsible for obtaining parent/guardian consent before entering a child's information into ezstone. Parents/guardians may withdraw consent at any time by contacting their childcare center or emailing us at hello@ezstone.app.

5. 데이터 보관 위치

데이터는 캐나다 몬트리올에 위치한 Google Firebase 서버(northamerica-northeast1)에 보관됩니다. AI 글쓰기 보조 또는 번역 기능을 사용하면 입력한 텍스트가 결과 생성을 위해 Google Gemini API로 처리되며, 이지스톤은 결과물(예: 번역 캐시)만 저장하고 AI 서비스와의 제출 이력은 저장하지 않습니다.

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers located in Montreal, Canada (northamerica-northeast1). When you use AI writing assistance or translation, the text you submit is processed by Google's Gemini API to generate the result; ezstone stores only the resulting text (for example, a cached translation), not your submission history with the AI service.

교사는 사진 공유 전 얼굴 블러 처리나 스티커 추가를 할 수 있으며, 이 편집은 공유되는 이미지에 영구 적용됩니다. 보호자는 어린이집이 자신의 자녀에 대해 공유한 기록과 사진만 볼 수 있습니다.

Teachers can blur faces or add stickers before sharing a photo; these edits are permanently applied to the shared image. Parents can only view records and photos that the center has shared for their own child.

당사는 개인정보를 판매하지 않으며 제3자 광고를 게재하지 않습니다. 개인정보는 서비스 제공업체인 Google Firebase(데이터베이스·저장소·호스팅)와 Google Gemini API(AI 텍스트 처리), 그리고 법령이 요구하는 경우에만 제공됩니다.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising. Personal information is shared only with our service providers — Google Firebase (database, storage, hosting) and Google Gemini API (AI text processing) — and when required by law.

개인정보는 계정이 활성 상태인 동안 보관됩니다. 계정 삭제 시 관련 개인정보는 즉시 삭제됩니다. 다만 관련 법령 또는 보육시설 인가 규정이 더 긴 보관을 요구하는 경우(예: 일부 사고·투약 기록)는 예외로 합니다.

We retain personal information while your account is active. When an account is deleted, associated personal data is deleted immediately, except where a longer retention period is required by applicable law or childcare licensing regulations (for example, certain incident or medication records).

모든 데이터는 전송 중 암호화됩니다. 접근은 엄격히 통제됩니다: 보호자는 자신의 자녀에 대해 공유된 기록만, 교사는 소속 어린이집의 아동만 접근할 수 있습니다. 모든 데이터 접근 규칙에 최소 권한 원칙을 적용합니다.

All data is encrypted in transit. Access is strictly controlled: parents can only access their own child's shared records, and teachers can only access children in their center. We apply the principle of least privilege to all data access rules.

이지스톤은 보호자 동의하에 어린이집을 대신하여, 오직 보육 기록과 공유 목적으로만 아동 정보를 처리합니다. 당사는 데이터 최소 수집 원칙을 지키며, 아동 데이터를 이용한 행동 프로파일링, 얼굴인식, 광고를 일절 수행하지 않습니다.

ezstone processes children's information on behalf of childcare centers, with parent/guardian consent, solely to document and share their care. We practice data minimization, and we do not perform behavioral profiling, facial recognition, or advertising of any kind involving children's data.

이용자는 hello@ezstone.app으로 연락하여 자신의 개인정보에 대한 열람·정정을 요청하거나 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다. 또한 BC주 정보·프라이버시 커미셔너(OIPC) 또는 캐나다 연방 프라이버시 커미셔너에 진정을 제기할 권리가 있습니다.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@ezstone.app. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (OIPC) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

12. 계정 삭제

계정은 앱 내(설정 → 계정 삭제)에서 또는 hello@ezstone.app 이메일로 삭제할 수 있습니다. 삭제 시 제8조에 따라 개인정보가 삭제됩니다.

You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing hello@ezstone.app. Deletion removes your personal data as described in Section 8.
