1. 이지스톤 소개

1. Who We Are

EZSTONE GROUP INC.(캐나다 브리티시컬럼비아주 법인, 이하 "당사" 또는 "이지스톤")은 캐나다 브리티시컬럼비아(BC)주 어린이집을 위한 한/영 이중언어 보육 기록 서비스인 ezstone 앱과 ezstone.app 웹사이트를 운영합니다. 본 방침은 당사가 어떤 개인정보를 왜 수집하고, 어떻게 보관하며, 이용자에게 어떤 권리가 있는지 설명합니다. 당사는 BC 개인정보보호법(PIPA) 및 캐나다 개인정보보호법(PIPEDA)을 준수합니다.

EZSTONE GROUP INC., a corporation incorporated in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "ezstone"), operates the ezstone mobile app and the ezstone.app website, a bilingual (English/Korean) childcare documentation service for childcare centers in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored, and your rights. We comply with the BC Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

계정 정보: 이름, 이메일 주소, 역할(원장·교사·보호자), 소속 어린이집 정보, 알림을 보내기 위한 기기 푸시 토큰과 앱 언어 설정, AI 기능 사용 횟수(무료 한도 관리용).

아동 정보(보호자 동의하에 어린이집이 입력): 이름, 생년월일, 반, 프로필 사진, 알러지 및 식이 정보(에피펜 여부 포함), 출결(등·하원 시각, 픽업 메모, 등원 요일), 일과 기록(식사·낮잠·기저귀·화장실 등), 관찰 기록, 교사의 일일 코멘트, 사고 및 투약 기록, 사진.

연락·건강 정보(어린이집이 입력, 교사만 열람): 보호자 이름·전화번호, 비상연락처(이름·관계·전화번호), 주치의(이름·병원·전화번호), 의료 메모.

학기 발달 체크리스트 평가와 교사 코멘트(교사만 열람, 보호자 앱에는 보이지 않음).

메시지: 교사와 보호자가 앱에서 주고받은 메시지·첨부 사진·답장, 읽음·확인 기록.

보호자 정보: 이메일 주소, 자녀와의 연결 정보. (보호자 이름·전화번호는 위 연락·건강 정보로 어린이집이 입력합니다.)

당사는 정밀 위치정보(GPS 등)나 광고 식별자를 수집하지 않으며, 얼굴인식 기술을 사용하지 않습니다.

Account information: name, email address, role (director, teacher or parent/guardian), childcare center information, the device push token and app language setting used to send notifications, and AI feature usage counts (to manage the free usage limit).

Children's information, entered by the childcare center with parent/guardian consent: name, date of birth, class, profile photo, allergy and dietary information (including whether the child has an EpiPen), attendance (arrival and departure times, pickup notes, scheduled days), daily care records (meals, naps, diapering, toileting and similar), observation records, the teacher's daily notes, incident and medication records, and photos.

Contact and health information (entered by the center; visible to teachers only): parent/guardian names and phone numbers, emergency contacts (name, relationship, phone number), family doctor (name, clinic, phone number), and medical notes.

Semester developmental checklist assessments and teacher comments (visible to teachers only; not shown in the parent app).

Messages: messages, attached photos and replies exchanged between teachers and parents in the app, and read and acknowledgement records.

Parent/guardian information: email address and the link to their child. (Parent/guardian names and phone numbers are entered by the center as contact information above.)

We do not collect precise location data (such as GPS) or advertising identifiers, and we do not use facial recognition technology.

당사는 서비스 제공을 위해 개인정보를 이용합니다: 아동의 일과 기록 및 보호자 공유, 어린이집과 보호자 간 메시지·공지, 새 기록 알림(푸시 알림), 한/영 번역, 안전 기록(사고·투약·알러지) 관리, 학기 평가·포트폴리오 보고서 작성, 고객 지원. 투약 기록은 기록 즉시, 사고 기록은 어린이집이 보호자 알림을 선택하면 보호자 앱으로 공유되고 알림이 갑니다.

이지스톤의 AI 기능은 글쓰기 보조와 콘텐츠 생성에 한정되며, 이용자가 버튼을 누를 때만 사용됩니다 — 문장 다듬기, 번역, 활동·교육계획안 초안, 이메일 초안, 그리고 교사가 직접 입력한 평가와 관찰 기록을 문장으로 정리하는 보고서 작성 보조입니다. AI가 스스로 아동의 행동, 감정, 발달을 평가·판단·분석하지 않으며, 모든 평가는 교사가 합니다.

We use personal information to provide the service: recording children's daily care and sharing it with their parents, messages and announcements between centers and parents, notifications about new records (push notifications), translating records between English and Korean, maintaining safety records (incidents, medications, allergies), preparing semester assessments and portfolio reports, and providing customer support. Medication records are shared to the parent app as soon as they are recorded; incident records are shared when the center chooses to notify the parent. A notification is sent in both cases.

AI features in ezstone are limited to writing assistance and content generation, and are used only when a user taps the button — polishing text, translating, drafting activity and curriculum ideas, drafting emails, and turning teacher-entered assessments and observation notes into report text. AI never evaluates, judges, or analyzes a child's behavior, emotions, or development on its own; all assessments are made by teachers.

어린이집은 아동 정보를 이지스톤에 입력하기 전에 보호자의 동의를 받을 책임이 있습니다. 보호자는 언제든지 어린이집 또는 당사(hello@ezstone.app)에 연락하여 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다.

Childcare centers are responsible for obtaining parent/guardian consent before entering a child's information into ezstone. Parents/guardians may withdraw consent at any time by contacting their childcare center or emailing us at hello@ezstone.app.

5. 데이터 보관 위치

아동 기록과 사진은 캐나다 몬트리올에 위치한 Google Firebase 서버(northamerica-northeast1)에 보관됩니다. 다만 AI 글 처리(Google Gemini API), 로그인(Firebase 인증), 푸시 알림 전달(Expo·Apple·Google), 앱 오류 진단(Sentry)은 미국 등 캐나다 밖에서 처리될 수 있습니다.

AI 글쓰기 보조 또는 번역 기능을 사용하면 해당 글(보호자가 보낸 메시지 포함)이 결과 생성을 위해 Google Gemini API로 처리됩니다. 보고서 작성 보조를 사용하면 아동 이름, 연령대, 교사가 입력한 관찰 메모와 발달 체크리스트 결과가 함께 전송되며, 이메일 초안에는 받는 분 이름이 포함될 수 있습니다. 생년월일·알러지·연락처·의료 정보는 앱이 자동으로 함께 보내지 않습니다(교사가 글에 직접 적은 내용은 그대로 전송됩니다). 이지스톤은 같은 글을 다시 번역하지 않도록 원문과 번역문(번역 캐시)을 저장하며, 그 밖의 AI 제출 이력은 저장하지 않습니다.

Children's records and photos are stored on Google Firebase servers located in Montreal, Canada (northamerica-northeast1). However, AI text processing (Google Gemini API), sign-in (Firebase Authentication), push notification delivery (Expo, Apple, Google) and app error diagnostics (Sentry) may be processed outside Canada, including in the United States.

When you use AI writing assistance or translation, the text involved (including messages sent by parents) is processed by Google's Gemini API to generate the result. When the report-drafting assistant is used, the child's name, age group, the teacher's observation notes and developmental checklist results are sent together, and email drafts may include the recipient's name. The app does not automatically attach date of birth, allergy information, contact details or medical information (anything a teacher types into the text is sent as written). ezstone stores the original and translated text (a translation cache) so the same text is not translated twice; it does not store any other AI submission history.

교사는 사진을 앱에 저장하기 전에 얼굴을 가리거나 스티커로 덮을 수 있으며, 가린 사진만 저장·공유됩니다. 보호자는 자기 아이가 태그된 사진을 봅니다. 여러 아이가 함께 나온 사진(태그되지 않고 함께 찍힌 아이 포함)과 사진 설명 글은 태그된 아이들의 각 가정이 볼 수 있으며, 보호자는 사진을 자기 기기에 저장할 수 있습니다. 기기에 저장된 사본은 어린이집이나 당사가 지울 수 없습니다.

Before saving a photo to the app, teachers can cover faces or place stickers over them, and only the covered version is saved and shared. Parents see photos in which their own child is tagged. Photos showing several children (including children who appear in the photo but are not tagged) and the photo caption can be seen by the family of each tagged child, and parents can save photos to their own device. Copies saved to a device cannot be deleted by the center or by ezstone.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising. Personal information is shared only with our service providers: Google Firebase (database, storage, sign-in, hosting), Google Gemini API (AI text processing), Expo (push notification delivery — device push tokens and notification text are transmitted; notification text may include the child's name and the type of record, but not the details of an incident or medication record; notifications are delivered to devices through the Apple and Google push services), and Sentry (app error diagnostics — when an error occurs, technical diagnostic data is sent to servers located in the United States; Sentry is configured not to automatically collect personal identifiers). Beyond these providers, information is disclosed only when required by law.

계정을 삭제하면 로그인 정보와 계정 프로필(이름·역할·알림용 기기 토큰)은 즉시 삭제됩니다.

아동 보육 기록(사진·사고·투약·일과·연락처 포함), 보호자가 어린이집에 보낸 메시지·사진, 어린이집이 입력한 보호자 연락처는 어린이집의 기록으로 남으며, 어린이집이 삭제하거나 원장이 원 계정을 삭제할 때까지 보관됩니다. 아동이 퇴소하면 보호자 앱 연결은 끊기지만 기록은 어린이집이 삭제할 때까지 보관되며, 보관 기간은 각 어린이집이 관련 법령과 보육시설 인가 규정에 따라 정합니다. 어린이집이 앱에서 직접 지울 수 없는 기록은 어린이집의 요청(hello@ezstone.app)에 따라 당사가 삭제합니다.

삭제된 정보는 시스템 백업에 최대 28일까지 남았다가 지워집니다.

When you delete your account, your login information and account profile (name, role, and device tokens for notifications) are deleted immediately.

Children's care records (including photos, incident and medication records, daily records and contact information), messages and photos that parents sent to the center, and parent contact information entered by the center remain as the center's records and are kept until the center deletes them or the director deletes the center account. When a child withdraws, the parent app is disconnected, but the records are kept until the center deletes them; each center sets its retention period in line with applicable law and childcare licensing regulations. For records a center cannot delete in the app itself, we delete them at the center's request (hello@ezstone.app).

Deleted information remains in system backups for up to 28 days before it is removed.

All data is encrypted in transit. Access is strictly controlled: parents can only access their own child's shared records, and teachers can only access children in their center. We apply the principle of least privilege to all data access rules.

이지스톤은 보호자 동의하에 어린이집을 대신하여, 오직 보육 기록과 공유 목적으로만 아동 정보를 처리합니다. 당사는 데이터 최소 수집 원칙을 지키며, 아동 데이터를 이용한 행동 프로파일링, 얼굴인식, 광고를 일절 수행하지 않습니다.

ezstone processes children's information on behalf of childcare centers, with parent/guardian consent, solely to document and share their care. We practice data minimization, and we do not perform behavioral profiling, facial recognition, or advertising of any kind involving children's data.

이용자는 hello@ezstone.app으로 연락하여 자신의 개인정보에 대한 열람·정정을 요청하거나 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다. 또한 BC주 정보·프라이버시 커미셔너(OIPC) 또는 캐나다 연방 프라이버시 커미셔너에 진정을 제기할 권리가 있습니다.

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@ezstone.app. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (OIPC) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

계정은 앱 내(교사·원장: 설정 → 계정 → 계정 삭제 / 보호자: 더보기 → 계정 삭제) 또는 hello@ezstone.app 이메일로 삭제할 수 있습니다. 삭제 시 제8조에 따라 처리됩니다. 자세한 내용은 계정 삭제 안내를 참고하세요.
