Consent for Use of the ezstone App and Personal Information (for Parents and Guardians)

[Centre name] (the "Centre") uses the ezstone app (provided by EZSTONE GROUP INC.) to share your child's day with you. ezstone stores and processes the information below on behalf of the Centre. Please read the following and mark your choices.

1. Information recorded in the app

• Child information (entered by the Centre): name, date of birth, class, profile photo, allergy and dietary information (including whether the child has an EpiPen), attendance (arrival and departure times, pickup notes, scheduled days), daily records (meals, naps, diapering, toileting and similar), observation notes, teacher's daily notes, incident and medication records, photos
• Contact and health information (entered by the Centre; visible to teachers only): parent or guardian names and phone numbers, emergency contacts (name, relationship, phone number), family doctor (name, clinic, phone number), medical notes
• Semester developmental checklist and teacher comments (visible to teachers only; not shown in the parent app)
• Messages: messages, attached photos and replies exchanged between teachers and parents in the app, and read and acknowledgement records
• Parent account: email address, the link to your child, and the device token and app language setting used to send notifications
• ezstone does not collect precise location (such as GPS) or advertising identifiers, does not use facial recognition, and does not use children's information for advertising or behavioural profiling.

2. Purposes

• Sharing your child's daily records, photos and observation notes with you through the parent app
• Messages and announcements between the Centre and parents, and push notifications about new records
• Korean ↔ English translation
• Managing safety records (incidents, medication, allergies). Medication records are shared to the parent app as soon as they are recorded. Incident records are shared when the Centre chooses to notify the parent. A notification is sent in both cases.
• Preparing semester assessments and portfolio reports, and customer support
• Records in the app are supplementary. The Centre's official records follow the Centre's existing record-keeping system.

3. AI features

When a teacher uses the AI writing assistant (polishing sentences, drafting reports, activity ideas or email drafts), or when a teacher or parent taps "See translation", the text involved (including messages sent by parents) is sent to an AI text-processing provider. AI is used only when someone taps the button.

The report-drafting assistant (portfolio summary and semester comment) turns the notes and checklist results entered by the teacher into sentences when the teacher requests it. The child's name, age group, observation notes and developmental checklist results are sent together. Email drafts may include the recipient's name. The app does not automatically attach date of birth, allergy information, contact details or medical information. Anything a teacher types into the text is sent as written.

The AI does not evaluate a child's behaviour, emotions or development. All assessments are made by teachers. The name of the AI text-processing provider is listed at ezstone.app/privacy.

4. Photos

Before saving a photo to the app, teachers can cover faces or place stickers over them, and only the covered version is saved and shared. Parents see photos in which their own child is tagged. Photos showing several children (including children who appear in the photo but are not tagged) and the photo caption can be seen by the family of each tagged child, and parents can save photos to their own device. Copies saved to a device cannot be deleted by the Centre or by ezstone.

The Centre keeps track of your choice separately. The app does not enforce it automatically; teachers check before sharing. Photos taken and kept for the Centre's internal records follow the Centre's policy: [Centre ___]

5. Storage location and retention

• Children's records and photos are stored on Google Firebase servers in Montréal, Canada. However, AI text processing, sign-in (Firebase Authentication), push notification delivery (Expo, Apple, Google) and app error diagnostics (Sentry) may be processed outside Canada, including in the United States.
• Push notification text includes the child's name and the type of record (for example, daily record, safety record or medication record) and is delivered through Expo and the Apple and Google push services. The details of an incident or medication record are not included in the notification.

• Records are kept until the Centre deletes its centre account. When a child withdraws, the parent app is disconnected, but the child's records (including photos, incident and medication records, daily records and contact information) remain as the Centre's records until the Centre deletes them. Photos shared together with other children remain in those families' apps. Records past the retention period are deleted by the Centre directly or by request to ezstone. 6. Withdrawing consent and making requests

• You may withdraw your consent at any time, or ask to access or correct your information. Contact: the Centre [Centre contact] or hello@ezstone.app
• You can also disconnect the app yourself in the parent app under More → Delete account. Your child's records remain as the Centre's records in that case.
• Your child's records are managed by the Centre, so please send deletion requests to the Centre. For records the Centre cannot delete in the app itself, the Centre will ask ezstone (hello@ezstone.app) to delete them.
• Photos already shared before you withdraw consent can only be handled by the Centre deleting the entire photo, and copies saved on parents' devices cannot be retrieved.
